Winter Camp was OFF THE HOOK!!!!!! It was so evident God was with us at Mount Hermon and we shook the ground worshiping Him. Literally, we did!! We were taught about the love of God and how He runs to us with arms wide open ready to welcome us back into His kingdom by Pastor Matt.
I took away the feeling that I am good enough for God. Even though I might have screwed up in the past and might see myself as inadequate and stupid and sometimes useless, God loves me still. Isn't that so cool? Jesus loves me no matter how I view myself, because I am HIS CHILD. His stamp is on my heart and life, and God will always look down from heaven and say "That's my boy right there"
So many memories and so much God happened at Mount Hermon. If ya got any memories or anything you learned from God this weekend I would love to hear them.

This is from Taylor Richins - camp was the most amazing 3 days of my life:) my favroite part was when we went to chappel every single time i walked in that door i feld god right up next to me...it was sooo fun singing to him and knowing that he is there listening to us sing out hearts out for him:)
ReplyDeleteWinter Camp was the greatest weekend ever and probably the most moving camp experience. During the Saturday morning chapel, one of the songs we were singing brought me to tears. I also got to bring my best friend, Mariah (you all know her) and the fact that she was there made it 10X better. Thanks so much Clint for helping both, me and Mariah go. YOU'RE AWESOME!!! Thanks to Angelica and Joanna for being the coolest counselors ever and Angelica when you opened up on Saturday, it really touched me. I LOVE YOU ALL!!!!
ReplyDeleteWinter camp.....? I hung out with Risa, Raquel, and Lauren a lot. We got closer. I enjoyed the first night. Angelica said she was exhausted, then when we're all in bed, we hear, "Let's play a game!" :) Love you, Angelica. Thanks for putting up with us. Oh yeah, and Haley, Mariah, and Caitlin... I'm not a vegetarian. I love meat. :)

I was super tired having such little sleep the few weeks before, but being around you girls always gives me this energy to keep going even when you're tired! I love you too!
ReplyDeleteWinter camp was amazing, it was great making relationships with the girl. I loved having all you girls sit on my bunk and just talk about our lives, cracking jokes, and being crazy! I love you all, and you are all loved so much by God. And you are all precious and beautiful inside and out! Thanks for making my weekend a weekend to remember!
